The intention was to simultaneously shift between working and thinking in a sketchbook and the tools which come naturally in working and then shift the horizon to a larger area of working and then come back to the scale of the sketchbook.

The large space allowed for possibility to expand the area of working in any direction possible. The paper could be expanded vertically and could be walked into with the body.

Simply drawing, or seeing a line become visible as you move your body along the mark making surface.

The questions of being cerebral and expressive come into force in these two spaces. The designated A 4 cut paper and the roll of paper.
