the problem is that so much is about the existing surface, that by putting photocopied pages from my sketchbook on the wall did not mean anything. what meant was the surface of the wall and the marks i made on the wall.

the problem is that pasting, adding anything on it does not help. it takes away something of the original.

the problem is that coming to the space every time i could not see the photocopied paper but only the room as a visual only.

and that visual was what i could hold on to.
